pit's July 10, at Corks Cozy Wine Bar in Bucharest there is a new wine tasting curated by me. Unlike the first edition this year, which took place in the spring, at the event on July 10, the organizers propose five other types of sarmales, discovered by me or other recipe seekers in our territory, both among Romanians and among other ethnicities : pork with grated potatoes and sauerkraut - Slovak specialty, beef in vine and goulash sauce - Chef Nico Lontras's recipe, with horseradish and raisins in beetroot leaves, rice with sprouts in sweet cabbage and lamb in leaves of horseradish.
Sarmalele will be accompanied by wines from Villa Vinea Winery. Participants can taste: Kerner 'The Sarmale Whisperer', Gewürztraminer, Fetească Regală & Pinot Noir, all produced by the Transylvanian winery.
