Rual first AproBistro highlights the star ingredient of the summer: tomatoes and announces a special weekend dedicated to them.
On July 28 and 29, the restaurant's kitchen moves exclusively to the terrace, in the generous courtyard in Mihai Eminescu Street 114-116, where the chef Laurentiu Hairadin together with Chef Cristina Dumitrașcu (recently returned from a training course in Copenhagen) have prepared a special menu dedicated to tomatoes. The preparations of the two chefs are designed so that tomatoes are cooked, presented and enjoyed in many ways and textures.
During the "Tomatino" festival, you will be able to buy tomatoes and other vegetables grown on the restaurant's own farm from the aprozarar in the courtyard and you will be able to attend live cooking sessions at the grill or pirosti that will be arranged in the food court set up especially for the event. Entry is free and the proposed menu can be ordered à al carte (any dish can be ordered individually):
Tomato and sheep's cheese galette
Gazpacho with quinces
Bruschetta with tomatoes
Smorrebrod (Scandinavian sandwich)
Tomato consomme
Goffre with marinated tomatoes and salmon trout
Adana kebab with tomato and eggplant
Lamb stew in pirostrii with tomato and mint sauce
Mussels with tomato sauce
Tomato burger with smoked cheese
Rib eye tacos and tomato salsa
Rice with milk and tomato jam with Tonka beans
