Do we have a cult of wine, like the French?

In the Tasty Memories, the column in the podcast Digital Chronicles which I do every Friday, I invited John T. Morar. We didn't just talk about the food, especially since he's a wine lover who also knows how to read its full story in a glass.

"I believe that we will have the cult of wine in the moment in which wine producers in Romania will have the cult of wine producers in France. It is a very close relationship between consumers and producers. In France, wine means culture. I was actually thinking of a slogan with Toni Grecu: Wine without culture is a simple drink.

In France, wine is part of a ceremonial. Sure, it draws from religious ceremonial in Christian countries, but it's sold otherwise. I read that the consumption of wine has decreased in France, but the consumption of expensive wine has increased, so the French are moving towards less and that's how the quality of the wine consumed has increased", Ioan T. Morar told me, on the Cronicari Digitali podcast.
