A true "parade of wines, dishes and ideas from Dobrogen" takes place between October 19-20, 2024 on Faleza Tulcea, under the auspices of the Romanian promotion platform "WeAreRomania / YOU ARE WELCOME!”. The event, held at the restaurant "At the Port" under the name of "Dobrogen wines and dishes", has the dual purpose of promoting the gastronomy of the destination as a whole (not just the delta one) to the general public and to interested companies.
Cooking shows, 2-day tasting exhibition, regional wine competition, product and concept presentations, book launches and conference-debates about Dobrogea's national and international identity and branding will constitute the attraction points of the event - for which trips with groups from Bucharest and other cities will also be organized.
For any visitor, "Dobrogen wines and dishes" it will be an unprecedented opportunity to participate directly in the life of the region, to experience the unique and diverse offer of Dobrogea.
For exhibitors, "it will be a new step towards the development of a sustainable local economy in the off-season", as stated by the host of the event, Adrian Gemănaru, manager of the "La Liman" restaurant - one of the founders of the Tulcea Destination Management Organization.
HoReCa representatives from the region and the Capital, NGOs, local authorities, travel agencies and operators, local general public and from other cities, influencers and relevant publicists at the national level are expected at the event.
